I honestly thought my obsession with Starship was easing… turns out all it took was flight 12 (the first flight of version 3 of Starship), and, well… I got a bit carried away and made a SpaceX launch viewer for AppleTV and iPad.
It started out as a little experiment with the X API, just to see if it would be possible to filter posts with a live video or broadcast, but then I also started poking around with the SpaceX website and saw that they had an API to show all of their Starship pages too.
A few hours later, and agents and I had built an AppleTV app that made it so much easier to share Starship launches with my friends and family.
Features:
- Plays livestreams of all SpaceX rocket launches
- Plays all Starship films (Test like you fly is amazing!)
- Plays all Starship test flights (including Starhopper)
Just when I thought I was done, I realised that there was another big screen sitting on my kitchen bench that needed some love – so I added iPad support too.
